Sunrise

I wish you could walk with me past the gardens of Frangipani and Callistemon to the beach. I wish you could breathe in with me the salt-laden, sea-fresh air. I wish you could run with me along the beach, so your heart beats fast, and your sleep-slug blood turns ruby-red. I wish you could sit-wait with me on the cool sand for the sun to peek over the edge of my world. I wish you could feel the juxaposition of cool sand under your bare feet and heat-pulse of new-day sunshine on your face.

I really wish you could.

    For as much as I try to maintain some level of fitness, I will bet you will always be just a few steps ahead, and I chugging along behind, gulping for air.

    Ahhh… well – besides the fact that your greeting the sun on your side of Oz, and I’m putting it to bed on my side… *sighhhhhhhhhh*

    Wish it was me you were inviting over there, I’d bring ‘Olds’ if that’d sway the argument any ;-) I’d even keep it on ice!!!

    Gotta love the way you paint a beach in the morning… you sure your not a ’saltwater cowboy’ yourself mate – saltwater being you and all?! lol

    Mmmm, I wish I could too. I love to feel the gentle breeze that comes in, which are usually kind in the morning. Glad you are enjoying it :D

    oh, lovely!

    i tend to prefer colder climes though. the sun is terrible if your eyes get squiffed easily. i shall enjoy the lovely sun, but under a big umbrella. :)
