Not many take the time to see beyond beauty. But that birdy? She’s a lot more than the way she causes light to bend into your visual receptors. You dumb fucks!
Is this birdy on strike? “Until you recognize that I am a living being with feelings and what not, I shall not display my pretty colors for your viewing pleasure.”
I’ve felt pretty much like that many a time in my life. And pretty well expressed it with those very words. Once I cut off all my hair to make a point. Problem was I didn’t much like it either. What’s that expression? To cut off your nose to spite your own face?
That’s what I love about the internet. Visual cues aren’t needed and really don’t matter at all. That bird could come chat with us and we wouldn’t judge (him?) for all those bold colors. We’d appreciate him for his poetry.

Angry metaphor always makes me duck.
Polly want a cracker heh.
Indeed she is.
The beauty draws you in, the beak bites off your finger!
I’m still working on the falling out of love part.
but it’s so much easier to just receive the visual cue and move on.
Is that a smirk or a beak?!
